Social story drama ‘Raagi Jamai’. The drama is written by Golam Sarwar Anik, screenplay and directed by Maidul Rakib.
Niloy Alamgir, Tanya Barshti, Shariful Islam, Khairul Alam Tipu, Preeti Alvi, Ashraful Alam Sohag and many others acted in this play.
Director Maidul Rakib said that how much anger can destroy people has been shown in this play. Niloy, the hero of the story, is not so prosperous. However, the area has a reputation as an angry person. Due to his anger, everyone is afraid of the local people, neighbors, shopkeepers of the market. No one wants to sell anything to him.
He said that the wife is also upset because of this angry son-in-law but she also does not dare to say anything because of fear. The neighbor came and shamed them as their situation was not that prosperous. They have a lot of money, no shortage of happiness. Compared to that, they are fakirs. The wife is distressed to hear such words and does not stop to listen to the two words. Due to this anger one day Nilay lost his job. Then the level of torture of this angry son-in-law went to bed. When the back is against the wall, the wife angrily leaves the father’s house.
